Placement process for cairn energy (on the basis of the previous year recruitment)

2. Interview

Written test:-It contains following sections-

1. Aptitude:- Aptitude part will be having basic and easy questions .You don’t need to put any high tough logic into that. It will be full scoring section. Like one variable equation ( 2X-4=3/2 .find X?)

2. English:-Mostly question will be just having antonyms and synonyms pattern. You should be having a good vocabulary knowledge for that. 

3. Passage:-No tough language will be there in passage. You have to answer very simple questions. 

4. Technical:-It needs basic information and knowledge about your core subjects. No need to concentrate on tough derivation. Like Megger instrument is used for measurement of ……

 INTERVIEW:-This would be longer for mech and chemical branches (around an hour) but for electrical it will be around half an hour duration. 

1. Prepare for your personal introduction which must be different from as usual. Generally plants like cairn energy are interested in engineers who are good in social relations and punctuality. 

2. You should be having a good idea about your contribution to plant. Take an overview of oil n gas production plant overview on internet. 

3. You must be having a good command on atleast one core subject . 

4. You should be interested in plant operations and field job rather than office work.
